SPRING 2024 Studio Art Classes!
DARKROOM: I have been spending many hours in the darkroom developing film and photos. I am building up my portfolio and finally have some scanned! It has been so great to rediscover my love and passion for photography- and it has been nice to just have fun with it.
CERAMICS: I have found a strange love-dislike (depends on the day) relationship with ceramics. We have created pinch pots, dog dishes, cylinders, mugs, and now bowls! I find throwing to be therapeutic given the day and just enjoy all of the people I have met in the studio throughout this semester!
FIGURE STUDIES: I am not going to lie this class has been a real struggle but we are pushing through...I am proud of the progress I have made so far. And I am very thankful for the friends I have made to help get through this night class!
STUDIO PRACTICE/PERSONAL VISION:
We recently had to make a video showing our processes and we also did collaborations with another artist and you can watch both of those videos under these links! :)
PORTFOLIO REVIEW:
I had my portfolio review on Friday, April 12th! I stood in front of the board and presented my portfolio and they offered helpful feedback and encouragement on how I am doing in the art department!
